AMD GPU Performance Improvements

The 2025.2 release provides performance and stability improvements while debugging code on AMD GPUs.

Fortran Modules View

The Fortran Modules view displays the global list of available Fortran modules in your Fortran program. You can use this view to add a Fortran module or any of its members to the Data View to further examine or modify them. For more information, see The Fortran Modules View.

Data View Freeze Data

The Data View's Freeze Data feature prevents TotalView from re-evaluating and updating the data in the view when program execution continues. Using this feature, you can compare an expression's frozen and unfrozen data across multiple Data View tabs to track changes during program execution. For more information, see Freezing Data.

Data Format Options for Array View Data Table

By using a new Data Format option, you can now specify the data format for the data displayed in the Array view's Data Table. For more information, see the Data Table View section in the Viewing Array Statistics and Data Help topic.

TotalView Parallel Environment Definitions Updates

Choose from fully updated parallel environment definitions and select a launch style in the Parallel Session dialog when debugging your parallel application. For more information, see Debug a Parallel Program.

Non-Interactive Reprise License Manager Configuration

The Configure_License script used to configure the RLM License Server can now be run in non-interactive mode. This can be useful when you need to run the script as part of automated license server deployment and configuration workflows. For more information, see Step 4. Configure the RLM License Server in the Installing a Reprise (RLM) License Server Help topic.

Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements

Numerous bug fixes and performance improvements have been addressed.
