Starting the CLI in a Terminal Window
You can start the CLI directly from a terminal window rather than from within the TotalView UI.
In a terminal window, enter totalviewcli (assuming that the TotalView bin directory is in your path.)
You can use all command-line options available from within the TotalView Command Line view, except those specific to the UI.
NOTE: If you have problems entering and editing commands, it might be because you have invoked the CLI from a shell or process that manipulates your stty settings. To eliminate these problems, use the stty sane CLI command. (If the sane option isn’t available, you have to change values individually.)
See "TotalView Command Syntax" for command line options.
