Release Notes

The release notes for TotalView 2025.4 contain a summary of new features and enhancements, late-breaking product issues, migration from earlier releases, and bug fixes.

The version of this document in the product distribution is a snapshot at the time the product distribution was created. Additional information may be added after that time because of issues found during distribution testing or after the product is released. To be sure you have the most up-to-date information, see the version of this document at: https://help.totalview.io/.

Supported Product Versions and End-of-Life Information

To take advantage of new product features and improvements, and to ensure that your product is supported, install a current version. For a list of supported product versions, along with maintenance and end-of-life (EOL) information, see: https://portal.perforce.com/s/article/TotalView-Maintenance-Lifecycle.

TotalView License Technology Change Notice

Beginning with the 2024.1 release, TotalView changed to use Reprise License Manager (RLM) technology instead of Flexera based license technology. All new and renewed TotalView licenses will be issued as RLM licenses. TotalView for HPC served licenses will require a Reprise license server to be installed. Flexnet Publisher (FNP) and FlexNet Embedded (FNE) license technology is still part of TotalView and will continue to work with active licenses. Support for FNP / FNE license technology will be removed from TotalView by the end of 2026.
