This chapter discusses how to set up TotalView MPI debugging sessions for various environments and special use cases, as well as some application-specific debugging tasks. In most cases, you can just use the basic procedure, discussed in
“Starting MPI Programs Using File > New Program”.

For TotalView Individual, all your MPI processes must execute on the computer on which you installed TotalView. Further, you are limited to no more than 16 processes and threads.
