TotalView 8.10Totalview 8.10 supports programs built with NVIDIA CUDA SDK 3.1, 3.2, 4.0, or 4.1 tool chains, depending on the SDK Driver installed on the system. The SDK Driver determines the highest level of supported compiled code:
4.1 Driver: Programs built with SDK 3.1, 3.2, 4.0, and 4.1TotalView 8.9.2Totalview 8.9.2 supports programs built with NVIDIA CUDA SDK 3.1, 3.2, or 4.0 tool chains, depending on the SDK Driver installed on the system. The SDK Driver determines the highest level of supported compiled code:
4.0 Driver: Programs built with SDK 3.1, 3.2 and 4.0
3.2 Driver: Programs built with SDK 3.1 and 3.2
3.1 Driver: Programs built only with the SDK 3.1 tool chainTotalView 8.9.1Totalview 8.9.1 supports programs built with NVIDIA CUDA SDK 3.0, 3.1 or 3.2 tool chains, depending on the SDK Driver installed on the system. The SDK Driver determines the highest level of supported compiled code:
3.2 Driver: TotalView supports programs built with SDK 3.1 and 3.2.
3.1 Driver: TotalView supports programs built only with the SDK 3.1 or 3.0 SDK tool chains.
3.0 Driver: Only programs compiled with 3.0 are supported.TotalView 8.9.0TotalView 8.9.0 supports programs built with NVIDIA CUDA SDK 3.0 tool chain running with the NVIDIA 3.0 driver. To run with later versions of the NVIDIA driver, we suggest moving to a later version of TotalView.
Note that CUDA drivers claim to be backward compatible; therefore, it should be possible to compile with any TotalView-supported version of the SDK and run on a later version of the NVIDIA driver. For example, using TotalView 8.9.0, you could debug programs built with the CUDA SDK 3.0 tool chain on systems that are running the 3.2 NVIDIA driver.
