Debugging Memory Problems with MemoryScape : Chapter 2 Memory Tasks : Task 12: Saving and Restoring Memory State Information : Procedures for Exporting and Adding Memory Data

Procedures for Exporting and Adding Memory Data
The procedure for saving state information is as follows:
1
Select Export Memory Data, which is located on the left side of most reports.
2
If you are exporting a multiprocess program, MemoryScape places information for each process in its own file. For example, if the file name you enter is monte_carlo, MemoryScape appends a process number number to each file so that it is writing files named monte_carlo0, monte_carlo1, and so on.
The procedure for adding saved information similar to adding a program to MemoryScape:
1
Go to the Home | Add Program screen and select Add Memory debugging file.
