License Server Technology
Depending on your platform and license type, you will either download and install the RLM, FNP, or FNE licensing server bundle:
RLM: New license technology available with the 2023.4 release, replacing the use of FNP and FNE license servers and used by all new customers or those renewing. See Installing a Reprise (RLM) License Server.FNP: Most platforms. All platforms except macOS ARM64, Linux ARM64, and Linux PowerLE. See Installing a FlexNet Publisher (FNP) License Server.FNE: macOS ARM64, Linux ARM64 and Linux PowerLE. These platforms require FNE licenses. See Installing a FlexNet Embedded (FNE) License Server.NOTE: TotalView is deprecating the use of the FNP and FNE license technologies and will use only the Reprise License Manager (RLM) license technology in a future release. Beginning in 2024, all new TotalView customers will receive RLM style licenses. Existing customers will receive RLM style licenses when they renew.
